The LSS Monograph Series

In order to offer the Summer School participants a publication opportunity, the Summer School launches a virtual publishing platform dedicated to the open access philosophy of electronic publishing.

The LSS Virtual Publishing Platform is a service provided free of charge by the Summer School to facilitate publication of work undertaken or begun by its authors in connection with their participation in the Lugano Summer School. Eligible are articles of a high scholarly standard that are offered on a not-for-profit basis, so as to permit the widest possible readership.

All work submitted for publication will be subjected to review by the LSS Faculty; external reviewers may equally be consulted. To ensure a homogenous format and editorial quality, all monographs published in the series will be required to adopt a standard layout and editorial style defined by the publisher. All publications will be made available in PDF format. Monographs published will be numbered consecutively and can be assigned an international standard book number (ISBN), provided the author is willing to pay the ISBN registration fee. Authors publishing their work in the LSS Monograph Series are committed to providing the publication free of charge and in the open access mode but will retain their copyright.
